Nirmala Secondary School, (CBSE), Risdi is a sweet baby of her mother, Nirmala Higher Secondary School, Kosabadi, Korba. The beautiful building at Risdi is a sure proof that God's ways are marvelous and His deeds are beyond the power of man and his imagination. Nirmala CG Board should have yet another colorful wing as CBSE section was a long cherished dream of its management, parents, its well wishers and friends. With heart full of gratitude I should acknowledge that by the powerful inference of God, the dream was partly materialized when the management took a firm step to start the lower section of the CBSE Board in the year 2006, in the same building with its unique uniform and syllabus. Then the management began to pay its full attention on having a separate building with specified class rooms and other essential infrastructure. By the grace of God and unyielding efforts, the building with all required facilities got ready at Risdi.

The CBSE section was shifted to the new building on the third of January 2011. Though the students were delighted to shift to their new building, their parents had their apprehensions about the new place. As the Proverb reminds 'Time heals every thing'. Now the parents seem to be released from their tensions as the children are happy in their new kingdom.

I extend my hearty Congratulations to all those who have taken the initiative to bring out such a colorful magazine with a mind catching name “The Flame'. Let the 'Flame' bring flames to the lives of millions of young minds. May God bless all who are and who will be part of Nirmala, Risdi to be bearers and sharers of the true flame.
