Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, Korba (C.G), took their pride privilege to celebrate  Independence Day on 15 August 2021.As there was the order from the Collector that only Flag hoisting and Speech will be there and no cultural programme will be conducted so we celebrated according to the order of the District Management.
We celebrated 75th Independence Day, which is themed as 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav with great enthusiasm on 15th august 2022. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day. All the students, teachers, Non-teaching staff gathered in the school premises at 7:30Am. The programme started at 8:00Am followed by a prayer.
All the students and teachers of our school are divided into four Houses ,viz. Red, green ,blue and yellow ,and it is tradition of our school that whatever programme takes place throughout the year ,they take place under the responsibility and guidance of particular house head , house masters 4 members of that particular house Blue House and Red house were given the responsibility for arranging the programme .
Welcomed all the members present for the function. After that our principal sister hosted the flag and we sang National Anthem together with great enthusiasm.
The students came up with some patriotic songs , poems and speech on this Red lettered day .
In the end, the principal delivered the short speech, she told the students about the supreme sacrifice of the great martyrs who gave their life’s for the sake of freedom. She also said  that the freedom was very precious and it was very necessary to preserve it
In the end of the ceremony sweet packets were distributed among the students.
The Independent day  has a great importance in every citizen’s life .This day reminds us every year that freedom is sacred and citizens must do everything to ensure that it shall not be endangered.

On a fine morning of 27th of August deserving young talents of Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, Korba (CG) were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their Commitment, Confidence and full faith. The School held the Investiture ceremony with great enthusiasm. This ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic year 2022-2023. It was a solemn occasion where the young talents (Students) were all prepared to don mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by School.

The event began at 8:30 am. The function was presided by the blessing of the Principal Sr. Jeslet Mary. The ceremony was commenced with the lighting of ceremonial  lamp. School Head, House Heads, Club Heads and likewise Heads of different streams were elected by the students and consented by the teachers for the well discipline and smooth running of the school.
The elected Head Boy and Head Girl introduced themselves and they were conferred with badges and sashes by Respected Principal Sr. Jeslet Mary.
The school council members also took the oath to hold the dignity and honour of the School. The Principal & Teachers motivated the students ad blessed them with their golden views which would help the students to make their vision clear for the achievement of their goal by performing their duties with full dedication.
The newly inducted Head Boy Ayush Singh and Head Girl Alibha Munna thanked the management & teachers for providing them opportunities to serve for the School. Honorable Principal Sr. Jeslet  Mary congratulated them and told addressed them to be impartial and honest in leadership, unity, discipline and morality. The function concluded with National Anthem.

The School management and the Yellow & Green House members of Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, took the initiative to celebrate Republic Day 2023 along with teachers and students. It was celebrated with great Zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises.
The Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Godh, Councillor of Risdi Area arrived at the exact time 7:30 Am. He was warmly received by Principal Sr. Jeslet mary, Manager Sr. Joseline Mary, PTI Mr. Bharat Yadav, Band Mistress Mrs. Chitralekha Chouhan & concern teachers. The School band & Choir gave him a guard of honour and accompanied him to the School auditorium.
The flag was hoisted by honorable Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Godh along with Respected Principal Sr. Jeslet mary, Vice Principal Sr. Naveena Mary, Manager Sr. Joseline Mary, Sr. Sharon Mary, PTI Mr. Bharat Yadav & all dignitaries of the School. All the Nirmala family saluted the flag and the School choir had sung the National Anthem. The programme started with a patriotic song. Then the Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Godh was invited by the host  to say a few words on the special occasion of Republic Day. Moving ahead with the cultural programme, the students presented Hindi & English speech etc.
The management of Nirmala School took their initiative to give awards to 10th & 12th Toppers of session 2021-22 and the winners of group events held on Sports day. In this special occasion the parents were also invited. A token of love was given to the Chief Guest by the School management for his gracious presence.                     
The programme concluded up with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Mousami  Mukherjee. She thanked each and every person who had helped to make the programme a real success. The programme was successfully hoisted by Mrs. Rashmi Singh. At last sweets were distributed to the students, staff members and parents.

The Teacher’s day celebration was held on 4th of September 2021 in, Nirmala   Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, It was organized by management and the senior students of Nirmala to show their gratitude towards teachers. Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India in order to mark the birth Anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli  Radha Krishnan, who was a staunch believer of education and was, a well known diplomat, scholar, president of India and above all a Teacher.
The entire Nirmal family was very enthusiastic and excited for the celebration of Teacher’s day from the beginning of the day. The programme started at 10:00 am and hosted by the senior students of class 12th.The programme began with the prayer and lamp lighting by Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary, Manager Rev. Sr. Joseline Mary, Vice Principal Sr. Sharon Mary, Sr. Rania Mary and the entire Nirmala teaching staff.
The main centre of attraction in this special occasion was the inspirational and heart touching message conveyed by Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary. Later, all the teachers gathered for cake cutting ceremony. All the teaching and non-teaching staff were given gift and scroll as a token of love and respect towards the teachers by management as well as senior students.
The efforts and hard work of students were appreciated by teachers. The teachers were grateful towards the students and the management for such a special and memorable day. As per the Government issued protocol & instructions in view of Covid-19 pandemic management had took necessary preventive measures while organizing the Teacher’s Day celebration on 4th of September 2021.

Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, Korba (C.G), took their pride privilege to celebrate 75th Anniversary of Independence Day on 15 August 2021. This event was organized by Blue House and Green House members of Nirmala Schools.
The event began at 7:30 am. The Independence Day celebration was presided under the kind guidance and blessings of Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary.
The programme started with flag hoisting ceremony by honorable Manager Sister Joseline Mary along with loving Sisters and all the dignitaries of School under the support of PTI teachers Mrs. Vanaja Tiwari and Mr. Bharat Yadav, Scout Masters Mr Gajendra Diwakar and Mrs. Renu Shrivastav. All the teachers and students saluted the flag and the school band choir had tuned the National Anthem under the guidance of Mrs. Chitralekha Chouhan.
On this special occasion the host requested Principal Rev. Sister Jesni Mary to say a few words on their special occasion. Moving ahead with cultural programmes, on this special occasion Primary Teachers and Students of Nirmala School had presented a melodious patriotic song under the Co-operation of Mr. Ram Avatar Sir. A small speech was delivered by the head boy and head girl of School.
At last but not the least the Programme concluded by the Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Mary Deepsikha Dan. The Programme was hoisted by Mr. Amrik Singh and Mrs. Preeti Sindhu.
As per the Government issued protocol & instruction, school management had took necessary preventive measures while organizing the Independence Day celebrations on 15th August 2021 in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The school held the Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm and zeal. This ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic year 2021- 22.It was asolemn occasion where the young talents( students) were all prepared to done mental of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by School.
The event began sharp at 10:00 Am. The function was presided by the blessing of Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary, through her message she encouraged students to be committed to important issues and to always think goodness, talk politely with full of sympathy. Also she inspired the student to share the knowledge with each other, their heart should always filled with full of love and eyes full of Mercy i.e. without any violence overall be a holy person.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp and prayer song. Manager Rev. Sr. Joseline Mary, was the chief guest in this special occasion. In her address she congratulated the newly appointed perfects. She told them to hold on the values and also to spread, share the values wherever it is possible.
The Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary and Manager Rev. Sr. Joseline Mary pinned the blade to the perfect and handed over the flags to them. The master of ceremony was Mrs. Sheeja  Sujit and Mr. Bosco Rodrigues and the coordinator were PTI teachers Mrs. Vanaja Tiwari  and Mr. Bharat  Yadav. The newly inducted Head Boy Master Tanmay Banerjee and Head Girl Shivani Soni thanked the management and teachers for providing them the opportunities to serve for the school.The vote of thanks was given by Head Girl Shivani Soni.

           The main aim of the Virtual (Online) competition was to keep students engaged in creative activities during their stay inside their house. All the participants were well dressed and used various skills like presentation, fluency, knowledge for the allotted topics etc. to convince the judges. The best part in the Virtual Competition was participants displayed their confidence in presenting their views and ideas on the given topics.

Heritage club of Nirmala English Higher Secondary School (CBSE) Risdi Korba take their pride privilege to conduct online solo dance competition from classes 3 to 5 on the Republic Day that is (26-1-2021) headed by Mrs Anita Barve under the kind support and guidance of Respected Principal Sister Jesni Mary.
All the class teachers from classes 3 to 5 including the members of heritage club were very enthusiastic to conduct the competition. The competition was conducted online all the participants were well prepared and they've used various skills like presentation, dress code, song selection etc. perfectly to convince the judges. The theme for solo dance competition was based on patriotic songs.
Special thanks to our judges Mrs Mary Deep shikha Mam and Miss Dipti Tiwari Mam who were invited to witness competition virtually. They appreciated the participants for their well performances.

Nirmala English Higher Secondary School (CBSE) Risdi Korba take their pride privilege to celebrate 72nd Anniversary of Republic Day on 26 /01 /2021.The Honourable chief guest Rev. Father Praveen Toppo and guest of honour Manager Rev. Sister Lillian Mary arrived in the school campus at the exact time. He was warmly received by loving sisters and school dignitaries including our PTI in-charges Mrs Vanaja Mam, Mr Bharat Sir, Scout in-charge Mrs Renu Mam, band in-charge Mrs Chitralekha Mam. the Nirmala band gave them the guard of honour and had accompanied them to the school auditorium along with school dignitaries.
The event began at 7:30 a.m. The function was presided under the kind guidance and the blessings of Respected Principal Sister Jesni Mary. The programme started with flag hoisting ceremony by Honourable Rev. Father Praveen Toppo, Respected Manager Rev. Sister Lillian Mary along with the school dignitaries of the school. All the teachers and students saluted the National flag and the school choir had sung the National Anthem . The programme was hoisted by Mrs Hima. After the flag hoisting ceremony school secretary Mrs Meenakshi Singh and was invited for a small welcome speech and for the introduction of the Respected chief guest Rev. Father Praveen Toppo and Respected Manager Rev. Sister Lillian Mary.
The chief guest Rev. Father Pravin Toppo had congratulated Nirmala family and School management for the dedication and hard work. Also, he had conveyed his message and talked about the importance for celebrating 26 January as Republic Day that is about the sacrifices of our great leaders etc. He appreciated and blessed everyone through a small prayer for the smooth and proper functioning of Nirmala School.
The School management had arranged everything according to the protocol decided by government that is maintaining social distancing and wearing mask etc. At last, the school management had congratulated all the staff members for their joint efforts and also to make the programme successful.

All the members of Literary Club were very enthusiastic to conduct the competition as Virtual Competition was a new concept for the teachers as well as students. The main aim of the Online Competition was to keep the students engaged in productive activities during their study inside their houses and also to give students creative room to express what they feel. All the participants were well prepared and they used various skills like over statement, definition, rhetoric, irony etc., to convince the judges. Also the participants displayed their confidence in presenting their views and ideas on the given topic.
Special thanks to the Judges who were invited to witness the competition. They were Mrs. Mousmi Mukherjee, Mrs. Rashmi Singh, Mrs. Uma Murthy and Mrs. Michelle Singh who selected the winners and appreciated the participants for their performances.

The English Recitation Online Competition of class III to V was held on 05.09.2020. It was conducted by Social Awareness Club member's Headed by Mr. Bosco Rodrigues. As we all know, poem is meant for enjoyment. Beauty is the realm of the poetry, the children enjoy the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme ,rhythm and music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The children chose a variety of topics for their recitation like nature, trees, flower ,mother, teacher, unity in diversity etc. with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Online Preliminary round was conducted by concerned class teacher's from where top three students from each of the sections were selected for the Final Round. Two judges were invited to witness the competition. They were Mrs Uma Murty and Mrs Minakshi Singh. They appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants and the children enjoyed the competition.

Sr. Jesni Mary. The members of heritage Club were very enthusiastic and took initiative to conduct Fancy Dress Competition successfully.
The kids were also very enthusiastic as virtual competition is a new concept for them. Winners were also chosen through the performances given. The kids dressed in their best made appearances through online Applications and also delivered their dialogues.

The School Name Day of Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, was celebrated with great pomp and show in School premises. The Programme started at 8:30 am with the lamp lightening ceremony by Manager Rev. Sr. Lillian Mary, Vice Principal Sr. Josheena Mary, Sr. Stincy Mary, Staff Secretaties, House Heads and concerned teachers.
The Programme began by the welcome speech of Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary. She welcomed everyone on this special occasion. Various joyful and cultural programme were arranged by students, including skits by all the four houses, songs and group dances. Overall the students were very enthusiastic and energetic. They enjoyed and created a spiritual atmosphere through their various performances.
The programme was hoisted by the concerned teachers of all the four houses. Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary had congratulated all the staff members for their joint efforts and also to make the programme really memorable. At last the refreshment were served to the children by school management committee.

The management took the initiative to celebrate children’s day along with the teacher’s of Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi. Thus 14th November 2019 was celebrated as Children’s Day with great zeal and zest in the school premises.
The management with the In charge teachers put their head together and chalked out some beautiful cultural programme for the students.
The Programme started at 8:00 am and was hoisted by Mrs. Hima Kaiwart and Miss Dipti Tiwari.  Principal Rev.Sr. Jesni Mary  blessed all the children. The programme started with lamp lightening ceremony by Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary, Vice Principal Sr. Josheena Mary, Sr. Stincy Mary, House Heads, Club Heads, Class Captains and Student council’s head.
On this day, the message conveyed by Principal Sr. Jesni Mary. It  was really valuable and unique for our children. There were various cultural programmes prepared by the teachers for the students to convey their love towards the students. The students enjoyed the programme.
Along with that Social Awareness Club of Nirmala family conducted certain Co-scholastic activities such as Fancy Dress Competition from classes I to V. It was hoisted by Mrs. Sheeja Sujit. Principal Sister congratulated and praised all the teaching staff for their lovely arrangement. At last the refreshment were served to the students by the School management.

It is relevant. Gandhi was a person who always supports truth and non-violence. He was the person who taught Indian people how to raise your voice against injustice with respect to the policy of non-violence.
Debate Competition was organized in Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, on 5th of September 2019. It was conducted by Red House teachers of Nirmala. The topic for the participants of the competition was “How Gandhi is relevant in today’s context.” The debate was conducted into two groups’ junior group from classes VI to VIII & Senior group from classes IX & XI. Selection of the speaker participants ‘for’ and ‘against’ was selected by their House Captains. Some participants argued for the motion and some against the motion. Judges and audience highly appreciated the debate.
Debate is one of the academic activities that give students creative room to express what they feel. All groups were well prepared and they used various skills like overstatement, definition, rhetoric, irony etc to convince the Judges & the audience.
They armed with statistics and data validated and emphatic with right facial expression, body movements and gestures. All the groups exhibited great oratorical skills. And put in tremendous hard work to showcase their hidden talent. They confidently presented themselves before the panel of eminent Judges & audience and wonderfully spoke on the topic and presented their different views.
At the end of the heated but interesting debate which lasted over one hour, finally Blue House from junior group and Red House from senior group won the debate competition & Red House thanked all, for their participation in the competition.

The teacher’s day celebration was held on 5th of September 2019 in Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, Korba.  It was organized by management and student council of Nirmala to show their gratitude towards teachers.
Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India in order to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli  RadhaKrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education and was a well known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a teacher. When Dr. Radha Krishnan became the President of India in 1962, he was approached by some of his students and friends and requested him to celebrate his birthday as teacher’s day. In reply, Dr. Radhakrishnan said- “Instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege if September 5th is observed as “Teacher’s Day”. The request showed his love for teaching profession. From then onwards the day is celebrated as Teacher’s Day in India.
The entire Nirmala family was very enthusiastic and excited for the celebration of Teachers’ Day from the beginning of the day. At 8:00 am Students were lined and arrangements were made in front of the stage holding Teachers day greetings in their hands to respect their teachers. The programme was hosted by the senior students of Nirmala.
The programme began with the prayer and lamp lightening by Principal Sr. Jesni Mary, Vice Principal Sr. Joseena Mary, Sr. Stincy Mary and entire Nirmala teaching staff. The main centre of attraction in this special occasion was the inspirational and heart touching message conveyed by Principal Sr. Jesni Mary. Later, all the teachers gathered for cake cutting ceremony. All the teaching and non-teaching staff was given gift and scroll as token of love and respect towards the teaching by management as well as senior students a very gracious programme was arranged by the students in the form of cultural programme. The students took great effort and ensured that teachers enjoy every minutes. The event ended on the happy note where all the students were given cake. The efforts and hard work of students were appreciated by teachers. The teachers were grateful towards the students and the management for such a special and memorable day.

Food fest by the students of class VI A1, VIA2, VI A3 was organized in Nirmala Eng. Hr. sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, by the blessings of our Principal Sr. Jesni Mary, Manager Sr. Lillian Mary along with the kind co-operation of Vice Principal Sr. Joseena Mary, Sr. Stincy Mary, Science faculty teacher and all the concerned teachers of Nirmala family. The food fest was inaugurated with a prayer song by School choir. Principal Sr. Jesni Mary and Manager Sr. Lillian Mary appreciated the students for their hard work and dedication towards food fest.Students had done a great and fabulous arrangement and participated with great enthusiasm and tried their best. They brought variety of food. Their main focus was to make everyone aware the traditional and healthy food. At last but not the least Class VI A2 won the competition. Along with that VI A1 and VI A3 were the runners. All the participants were congratulated for their best arrangement and hard work.

On a fine morning of 7th of August deserving young talents of Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, Korba (CG) were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their Commitment, Confidence and full faith. The School held the Investiture ceremony with great enthusiasm. This ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic year 2019-2020. It was a solemn occasion where the young talents (Students) were all prepared to don mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by School.

            The event began at 8:30 am. The function was presided by the blessing of the Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary & Manager Rev. Sr. Lillian Mary. The chief guest Mr. Kailash Pawar, Principal of Delhi Public School, Balco, Korba, arrived at exact time. He was warmly received by the Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni Mary and Manager Rev. Sr. Lillian Mary, Band Master along with concerned teachers at the gate. The band gave him the guard of honour and accompanied him to the auditorium along with Principal Sister, Manager Sister, PE Teachers and concerned teachers.

            The Chief guest Mr. Kailash Pawar and all the dignitaries were honored by bouquet and badges. The chief guest through his speech thanked the school management for inviting him in this auspicious occasion and congratulated all the appointed young talents.  Also he congratulated the Principal for committed teachers and students for their hard work, discipline environment, commitment and values they hold.

            Chief guest Mr. Kailash Pawar, and Principal Rev. Sr. Jesni mary pinned the blade to the perfects and handed over the flag to them. The master of the ceremony was Mrs. Manju Pandey & Mrs. Michelle Singh and the co-ordinators were P.E Teachers, Mr. Bharat Yadav & Mrs. Vanaja Tiwari. The newly inducted Head Boy Rahul Kushwaha and Head Girl Ishita kalesh thanked the management & teachers for providing them opportunities to serve for the School. The Annual Day Celebration of Nirmala Eng. Hr. Sec. School (CBSE), Risdi, Korba (CG), was celebrated with great pomp and show in school premises. The chief guest Mr. K.P Manhar, Assistant Director of D.E.O office korba, The guest of honour, Dr S.K Agrawal (Child specialist), Dr. P.L. Adiley ( Principal of Govt J.B.D. College Katghora), Sr. Ajaya Mary was warmly received by Principal Sr, jesni Mary, Manager Rev. Sr. Prasanna mary, Staff Secretary Mrs. Minakshi Singh and Mr. Sarfaraj Ahmed & concered teachers at the gate. The Nirmala band escorted them with great honour and accompanied them to the auditorium along with Nirmala family.


The programme started with the prayer song and welcome song by Mr. Ram & school choir. After this programme, honour chief guest Mr. K.P Manhar, Assistant Director of D.E.O office korba, The guest of honour, Dr S.K Agrawal(Child specialist, Dr. P.L. Adiley ( Principal of Govt J.B.D. College Katghora), Sr. Ajaya Mary and all the respected dias were presented a bouquet each and invited them all for the lamp lightening ceremony. Then Mrs. Soley Chatterjee was invited for the welcome speech. Thereafter Principal Sr. Jesni Mary was invited Annual Report & shared the achievement of students of classes X & XII of Nirmala school in session 2018-19. In board exam class X result was 100% and XII result was 95% which was appreciated.


After this Honorable chief guest Mr. K.P Manhar, Assistant Director of D.E.O office korba, was cordially invited to the dias for his valuable message. He appreciated & congratulated all the Nirmala family & also motivated and told the importance & values of co-curricular activities in school life.


After this our guest of honour, Dr. P.L Adiley had explained the importance of social inequality in his message and also shared that Lord Jesus Christ had shown the divine path to all the people & changed the whole era by his showers of light. Guest of honour Dr. S.K Agrawal also shared the importance of child management, which is only in the hands of parents. Thus he told parents must give time to the children for their proper nourish and care.
Our guest of honour Sr. Ajaya Mary also appreciated and congratulated Principal Sr. Jesni Mary& Manager Rev. Sr. Prasanna Mary for auspicious programme.


After this Prize, awards and scholarship distribution was done to the brimming buddies by the holy hands of our chief guest & guest of honour.


The main centre of attraction on this day was the attractive cultural programme performed by the kids of primary section i.e Umbrella dance (super sparkles), Michael Jackson (Rhythamic thunders), Girl’s Group (Diamond dolls dance), Worship dance, Ball dance (Sports Mani), Malayalam dance, synergy dance, Dance based on Education (Shiksha), Telugu & Tamil dance and various folk dances were performed by middle and higher classes. Overall the programme was very colourful and joyful. The students were really enthusiastic and energetic. They enjoyed and created a spiritual atmosphere through their various performances. . It was really a great moment of joy and jubilation to celebrate the feast day of our loving sisters. On this special occasion honorable Principal Sr. Jesni Mary, along with teaching and non-teaching staff including students arranged some special event to make this day a memorable day. The programme was hoisted by staff secretaries Mrs. Minakshi Singh and Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmed.
On this special day Manager Rev. Sr. Prasanna Mary and Sr. Sayoojaya Mary was honored & felicitated with bouquet, cards and tiara. Students also facilitated our sisters through their token of love.
The programme started with a prayer song by Mrs. Minakshi Singh and Choir group of teachers. Honorable Principal Sr. Jesni Mary welcomed the Manager Rev. Sr. Prasanna Mary & Sr. Sayoojaya Mary through her precious words. Teachers and other staff members showed their love and respect by presenting their token of love. The programme started at 8 A.M & hoisted by Anamika Khaiwar and Shikha Singh, students of class XII. Various programmes were arranged for teachers by the senior students to show their love and respect towards their teachers.
The programme started with the lighting of lamp by Principal Sr. Jesni Mary, Manager Sr. Prasanna Mary along with the school dignitaries of Nirmala family. In this special occasion, Principal Sr. Jesni Mary delivered a motivational message about the importance of teachers. Manager Rev. Sr. Prasanna Mary also blessed the staff through her holy heart touching words.
The student council and senior students had also shown their love and gratitude to the Teachers by the medium of token of love. A gracious programme was arranged by the senior students including song, speech, dances by kids of class I, class III & by senior classes. A small feast was arranged by them on this special occasion.
The teachers and all the Nirmala family enjoyed the programme. The teachers were very grateful towards the students and management for making this day very special and memorable.

The students brought variety of healthy food in order to focus importance of health. Various questions were asked to the students by the teachers and guests in order to enhance their knowledge. Students had participated with great enthusiasm and had tried their best.

It was a red letter day in the history when the country got her freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years to us to break shackles of slavery. People of India celebrate this festival every year with great pomp and show. The main program was celebrated at Red Fort. Beside this, the festival is also celebrated in every city and town, in school colleges and universities.
Our school celebrated Independence Day with great pomp& glory. The chief guest Rev. Fr. Felx Fernandez, the parish priest of Kusmunda arrived at the exact time. He was warmly received by the principal Sr. Jesni Mary, manager Rev. Sr. Prasanna Mary and the concerned teachers at the gate. The Band gave him the guard of honor and accompanied him to the auditorium along with the Principal, Manager and Scout manter Mr. Gajendra Diwakar.
The flag was hoisted by the honorable chief guest Rev. Fr. Felix Farnandez sharp at 7:45 am. All the students and teachers saluted the flag and then sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. As we all know and believe that each and every work should began with prayer song. Then the honorable chief guests Rev. Fr. Felix Fernandez, The Principal Sr. Jesni Mary, Manager Rev. Sr. Prasanna Mary were presented a bouquet each and also badging was done at the same time. The chief guest Rev. Fr, Felix Fernandez addressed the gathering and quoted the famous line of a poem. Moving ahead with the cultural program, the students presented March past & PT under the guidance of Mr. Bharat Yadav, Mr. Gajendra Diwakar & Mrs. Vanaja Tiwari.
Then the students of class I and II performed a group dance on a patriotic song under the guidance of Mrs. Mary.  A token of love was given to the chief guest by the school management for his gracious presence. The program was concluded up with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Mousmi Mukherjee. She thanked each and every person who had helped to make a program a real success. She thanked the parent also for their gracious presence. At last sweets were distributed to everyone.

The programme started at 9:30 a.m. It was hosted by the senior students and including Master Joel Fedrick. To mark the auspicious day, the lamp was lit by Principal Sr. Jesni Mary and Manager Rev. Sr. Prasanna Mary along with the teaching staff of Nirmala family.
The Student Council commenced the many spectacles planned for the day and showcased some stellar dance performances by senior students. The centre of attraction in this special occasion was the motivational message delivered by Principal Sr. Jesni Mary. She had presented a short story through which the teachers should capture some nectar and introduce them in their way of teaching. Above all Manager Sr. prasanna Mary blessed all the staff through her holy heart touching words, which conveys that teachers are the best medium to serve the humanity i.e through this they serve the almighty lord by their hardworks.
A very gracious programme was arranged by the students along with the feast. The teachers were very grateful towards the students and the management for making this day a very special and memorable.
